How Much Does It Cost To Travel In Vietnam?

by Tasha Amy @ Backpackers Wanderlust

How Expensive Is Vietnam and How Much Does It Cost To Travel In Vietnam? Travelling can be expensive, even in Asia, so its good to keep track of costs and make a budget. I track my spending so I can share with you how much it can cost to travel in Vietnam. When I was researching online, Vietnam was on the cheaper side when compared to other countries on the banana pancake trail. Most websites seemed to recommend approximately $20.00 per person per day. I actually ended up spending more than I had originally planed and what many other websites recommended during my 28 days in the country. After taking some hellish bus journeys I decided it was smarter and safer to take trains most of the time within Vietnam. We also splashed out on a 2 night tour of Ha Long Bay and the Vietnam visa is not cheap. I certainly lived a comfortable life in Vietnam and my cost per day to travel in Vietnam was $25.00, so not too much more from the recommended backpacker budget of $20.00. How I Book Cheap Transport In Vietnam: 12.Go Asia I am traveling Vietnam with my partner, James. This allows […]

Introducing this amazing city

by kimantravel @ Central Vietnam Day Tours & Activities

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, and but a few stray gleams steal into the inner sanctuary, I throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth, a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath of that universal love which bears and sustains us, as it floats around us in an eternity of blist.

Mother Natures Perfect Creation, Mui Ne The reason I fell in love with the wide variety of landscapes and things to do in Mui Ne. It is on the main tourist trail in Vietnam, though unless you are 100% confident on a motorbike I would recommend only spending one full day exploring the area. The reason why is that the majority of these things can be done on a tour. The majority of hostels and travel agencies will hold twice a day tours to all the highlights, this means to can tick off the top things to do in Mui Ne relatively quickly. Even better is that these tours are incredibly affordable, I booked my sunrise tour with Mui Ne Backpackers Village and it only cost $7.00 / 160,000 VND! How to travel with paper map

by kimantravel @ Central Vietnam Day Tours & Activities

Where To Eat In Rarotonga

by Tasha Amy @ Backpackers Wanderlust

My Recommendations Where To Eat In Rarotonga There are a variety of places to eat when you are visiting in Rarotonga. Whether that is the seaside food trucks, burger joints, ocean view restaurants, markets or fancy hotel eateries. Though, with all these options it can get a little overwhelming. That’s way I have created the ultimate list, where to eat in Rarotonga? Punanga Nui Market The must be place any Saturday morning is the Punanga Nui Market. Duck down for the perfect breakfast or lunch meal from one of the many stalls. From fresh smoothies, chicken, crepes and of course coconuts! If you are craving some homemade goodies this is the place to be as the local community sets up with amazing homemade cakes and pastries fresh out of the oven! Spend the morning trying a little bit of everything and relaxing under the beautiful Rarotongan sun. Opening Hours: Saturdays, 8am until 2pm. Location: Ara Tapu, Avarua, Cook Islands Mooring Fish Cafe This iconic Rarotongan eatery is a hot spot for locals and tourists, and for a good reason, their sandwiches! Located next to the fishing club you can be sure the iconic FOB sandwich is made with the freshest fish and on […]
